Business Analyst | Melbourne, VIC


As a Business Analyst in our VIC Workers Compensation division you will assist the Systems Support Coordinator and the Senior Business Analysts on a range of different projects and deliverables.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting our internal customers with systems access and technical support
  • Developing reporting to assist in business decision making and support strategy
  • Performing analysis to enhance processes, including reporting on claims and premium performance
  • Creating reports and data visualisations
  • Actively contributing to initiatives that improve performance
  • Demonstrating excellence in stakeholder management and engagement

Important to your success:

  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, and extracting insights
  • Technical skills including Excel and programming languages such as SQL, WebFocus or SAS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Degree qualified in mathematics, IT, Business or related discipline
  • Experience in dashboard and KPI report development using data visualisation tools e.g. Microstrategy, PowerBI, Tableau would be ideal
  • An understanding of the Victorian Workers Compensation scheme and WorkSafe systems is desirable
