About the role
The CMO Professional Practice Support Officer is provides the support to the Chief Medical Officer for leadership and oversight of the framework for Medical Professional Practice across Eastern Health.
Innovation Directorate to provide leadership that will drive performance improvement and innovation across the priority areas for Medical Professional Practice, and ensure the services focus
on patient quality and safety.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Knowledge of National safety and quality healthcare standards, demonstrated experience in implementing and sustaining a culture of safety and quality in health care setting and knowledge and understanding of accreditation process
Graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, health services management or other relevant qualification(s).
Extensive knowledge of a performance excellence approach to patient quality and safety management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Demonstrated working relationship with junior and senior medical staff would be desirable
