About the Role
We are thrilled to introduce a new opening for a minimum of 6 Occupational Health Technicians who thrive on solving analytical problems. If you excel in the exciting mining sector and possess a deep interest in healthcare, then this position is ideal for you
Contract: 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shifts
Contract Duration: 6 months casual engagement
Job Description:
The Occupational Health Technician will be responsible for conducting a variety of health and safety tests to ensure the well-being of all employees. This includes audiometric and spirometry testing, respiratory fit testing, and hearing protection fit testing.
Minimum Requirements:
Nursing Qualification AHPRA AOD Course Certificate Certified Audiometric Tester Certified Spirometry Tester A Valid C-Class Drivers Licence A National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months Experienced in respiratory fit testing Experienced in hearing protection fit testing Evidence of Right to Work in Australia (passport, VISA, drivers' licence, birth certificate) In addition, the following skills and experience will put you at the top of our list
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment. Record and report test results accurately. Work in compliance with health and safety regulations. Previous experience in a similar role Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Ability to operate and maintain testing equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
