About the role

An exciting opportunity exists within Eastern Health to lead enterprise risk management across the organisation.

The Eastern Health Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for managing the integrated risk management operating systems to ensure performance excellence in these domains.

This includes ensuring that Eastern Health has the required capability for excellence in risk management consistent with industry standards and that risk management is fully aligned and integrated with other quality systems to support achievement of Eastern Health strategic objectives.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Experience and expertise in the development and implementation of enterprise risk management in a large organisation, preferably healthcare.

An understanding of quality management issues, especially systems and processes for achieving continuous quality improvement

Experience in change management, service development and evaluation.


Demonstrated ability to manage a range of complex tasks within and across a number of areas at the one time and to different timeframes.


  • 5 years' experience in a senior management / coordination role


Excellent writing skills including a demonstrated ability to prepare reports using clear, concise language, organise information into a logical sequence and include content appropriate for the purpose and audience.

Ability to effectively communicate with multi-functional streams and diverse stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to commission, manage and deliver large complex projects within designated timeframe and budget.

Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organisation.

Competence in data collection, recording, analysis and presentation.

A relevant tertiary qualification
