(HEO6) $82,879 to $89,525 per annum (pro rata) plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

The Alumni Relations Officer is responsible for building and strengthening the University's relationships with its community of graduates and friends through events, networks and other engagement activities.

The role supports the delivery of tailored events and communications programs that increase alumni engagement and promote philanthropic support, including the management of alumni networks.

The Alumni Relations Officer is responsible for creating content for alumni news, Lumen, social media and other alumni communications platforms and will participate in the delivery of the annual giving day.


To be successful you will need:

  • Excellent written communication skills and experience in writing content to engage a range of audiences across a variety of communication channels.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills with experience brokering highlevel relationships with diverse stakeholders and audiences that yield positive outcomes and productive partnerships.
  • Budget management experience and the ability to innovate business practice to positively impact outcomes.
  • Committed and tenacious with a proven ability to work effectively across cultures with a broad array of stakeholders and staff at all levels.
