Job Description:

  • Human Resources Services (HRS) is an internal function providing global operations and business support across Brookfield's lines of business.
  • Purpose of the role:
  • To provide efficient and effective payroll services including, coordinate with payroll service providers to make the accurate payroll calculations, support payroll manager to provide consolidated payroll reports if needed, completing benefit enrollments and reports as necessary.
  • Responsibilities are but not limited to:


Asia monthly payroll
  • Coordinate with payroll service providers with the payroll changes.-
  • Payroll report checking and obtain the approvals to proceed payroll-
  • Payroll cash out report checking-
  • YTD report preparations-
  • Payslips update and record-
  • Off cycle payments on request-
  • Maintaining correct employee's data in Workday-
  • Respond to payroll queries and payroll legislation changes
  • Asia social security & tax year end adjustments and settlement, tax filing.
  • Year-end payroll reports preparation and checking.-
  • Documents filing in timely manner per local regulation requested.-
  • Employees communications on personal data collection and updates
  • Asia benefit management
  • Employees group insurance enrolment & termination-
  • Premium checking/ calculation for payroll changes-
  • Premium invoices checking and payments in timely manner-
  • Employees inquires on benefit coverage and intranet updates.-
  • Benefit data loading and records in Workday.-
  • Reports preparation per request.
  • Other
  • Keeping all payroll payment documents available-
  • Learning local payroll, social security legislations and make sure the changes can be captured into Payroll coverage and Benefit renewal.-
  • Other
ad hoc duties / projects as required
  • About you
  • Appropriate degree in Commerce / Accounting or Diploma in Accounting-
  • Minimum 3 years payroll experience in a complex environment managing numerous payrolls-
  • Asian payroll experience is a plus.-
  • Japanese/Korean language skill.-
  • Great team player-
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders-
  • Good communication skills-
  • Superior attention to detail-
  • Accurate data entry skills and analysis skills.-
  • Excellent time management-
  • Self-motivated and fast learner-
  • Knowledge of Asia payroll legislation-
  • Ability to work under pressure until work done-
  • Can do attitude
