About the role:


We are currently looking for an experienced
dispensary technician at Epic Pharmacy in New Town to assist in dispensing medication and to manage our inventory.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team that provides services to a number of aged care and group home facilities, day surgeries along with the overall community.


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee supply and management of medications to aged care facility
  • Dispensary and Front of shop inventory management
  • Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge
  • Assist in dispensing of medication
  • Replenish stock and maintaining inventory levels
  • Supply the correct medication
  • Answer customers with general queries
  • Assist the pharmacy teams with other adhoc pharmaceutical duties

Who are we looking for?

You'll:

  • Previous dispensing experience in an Australian based pharmacy is essential
  • Have a good working knowledge of medications and dispensing processes
  • Be driven by the desire to have a positive impact on another person's life
  • Have strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills
  • Have a "cando" attitude
  • Have strong customer service skills and an understanding of PointofSale Systems (POS)
