We are currently looking for an experienced
pharmacy / dispensary technician at Epic Pharmacy in New Town to assist in dispensing medication and to manage our inventory.
This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team that provides services to a number of aged care and group home facilities, day surgeries along with the overall community.
This rewarding role will provide you with the opportunity to enhance your career in an ever-evolving multidisciplinary team environment and work with private patients.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight. Our pharmacy operates from 8:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, and 8:30am to 2:00pm on Saturdays.
Shifts for this role will primarily be Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday shift as part of a rotation within the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee supply and management of medications to aged care facility
- Dispensary and Front of shop inventory management
- Assist in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while displaying an appropriate level of knowledge
- Assist in dispensing of medication
- Replenish stock and maintaining inventory levels
- Supply the correct medication
- Answer customers with general queries
- Assist the pharmacy teams with other adhoc pharmaceutical duties
