Who we're looking for:


We are looking for a Traffic Manager to develop, implement and maintain a functional Traffic Management System and oversee the design, planning and implementation of all facets of traffic management to ensure successful delivery.


  • Develop and implement a traffic management plan, procedures and forms chosen to ensure the project is delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all traffic management works are carried out to highest Safety standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of safe systems of work for all traffic related activities.
  • Manage the traffic team with the view of developing the experience and knowledge base of all direct reports.
  • Work closely with the design team and construction team to develop best for project outcomes for all required traffic staging.
  • Ensure appropriate road safety audits are carried out as per the requirements of the project deed.
  • Ensure all approvals are obtained for relevant authorities within the required timeframes without causing delays to construction works.
  • Develop monthly traffic performance report, which is to be submitted to the Construction Manager.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client representatives to ensure successful delivery of the project. Develop and maintain relationships with Independent Verifier representatives to ensure success of delivery of the project.
  • Review monthly cost to date for traffic cost codes to ensure accuracy for reporting purposes.
  • Complete forecast to completion on a monthly basis and report results through to construction manager.
  • Highlighting of potential commercial risks to the construction manager and take action to mitigate them.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with wider project team.
  • Take a lead role in the coordination of activities with all construction teams.
