As our Family Day Care Coordinator, Camden Family Day Care, you will be responsible for providing support to families and educators as well as ensuring the provision of a high-quality family day care service within our community.

Essential:
- NSW Department of Education approved qualifications in early childhood
- Demonstrated experience working in a coordination unit role or as an educator in a family day care service
- Ability to work independently, lead a team and work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, & conflict resolution skills
- Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to early childhood education & care
- Excellent time management abilities, ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Qualifications as required by ACECQA must be kept up to date
- Current Working with Children Check & National Criminal Record Clearance
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
Desirable:
- Flexibility towards working hours
- Experience developing & presenting early childhood professional development
- Understanding of issues and needs in relation to the placement of children in care
- To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication. If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs._
