This position within the Mission Systems Business Area has primary responsibilities supporting the Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) & Autonomy portfolio under Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS)

What You Will Do:

  • Responsibilities include problem solving, contract management and providing sound business support to ANS Program Manager(s) and the team responsible for the Navy's requirements.
  • As a team member within ANS, you will work directly with the ANS Program Manager(s) and supporting functions to manage and execute current and upcoming contract requirements. Primary responsibilities for the position will include managing several contracts within the portfolio in multiple capture phases and working with the Navy and other customers in support of contract requirements.
  • This position will allow the selected individual to be involved in many aspects of Contracts Administration and Negotiation such as: Front-end assessment of business pursuits, proposal preparation, contract negotiation for various types of contracts, contract administration, contract acquisition and fulfillment of contract requirements in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. It requires management of multiple external customer relationships, the provision of business counsel and leadership to the Program Management Teams, together with expedited proposal, negotiation and/or definition of contracts that are critical to Raytheon and the ANS Program Area.
  • You will have the opportunity to develop skills to recognize business and contractual risks and opportunities in program performance; implement solutions; carry to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision. Please note that the ability and willingness to travel domestically for customer negotiations, program reviews, and other engagements may be necessary when COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted.

This is a hybrid position requiring some travel to the St. Petersburg, FL facility to support customer meetings, reviews and other program requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field of Contract Management, Negotiations, and or US Government contract experience
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience working with US Government contracts and related regulations, such as the FAR, DFARS, and ITAR
  • Experienced in administration/management of OTAs, cost-type contracts, fixed-price type contracts, USG DoD and DCS contracts for development, transition to production, full rate production, sustainment, and services.
  • Direct experience in the development of proposals, including sole source and competitive pursuits, as well as intensive fact-finding and negotiations.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • The ability to obtain DoD TS Clearance
  • Experience with contract financial structures, pricing strategies, policy & procedure and compliance principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
