Our client is a clinical research organisation, with a national presence within the Australian market.


We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Blood Collector to join their small patient focused team in Eastern Melbourne (10km from CBD).


Key Responsibilities

  • Venepuncture experience essential.
  • Collection of blood from patients
  • Processing of Pathology Specimens
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clerical duties and basic IT skills
  • Highlevel communication skills with colleagues and patients
  • Ability to provide dedication to patient care
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Comply with Work Health and Safety

About you:

We are looking for a driven, outgoing individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality Pathology services. You'll have a positive can-do attitude to be able to work with our external stakeholders successfully and positively. You will have a high level of technical skills and be able to work autonomously and without supervision.

Requirements.

  • Eligible to work within Australia
  • Possess a current driver's licence and WWC Check
  • Obtained a Cert 3 in Pathology Collection (minimum qualification)
  • A clear and patient communicator

Experience in blood collection (at least 6 months):

  • Have a positive attitude
  • Have a passion for Pathology Collection and patient care
  • Reliable and able to commit to the full contract.
