Job Description:


Working within the
Sales Operations Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for creating a framework that enables the company to make informed decisions by designing and implementing data collaboration strategies to identify, extract, aggregate and present key metrics from various data sources for use across multiple software interfaces.


The Business Intelligence team works within the broader Sales team across all of Nine's brands, resolving complex data relationships across many platforms and data sources.


Day to day you will:

  • Identify and surface insights from the various data sources to provide solutions that align with company goals and business strategy
  • Work closely with the Nine Ad Sales Data Technology team to determine appropriate data solutions and modeling for Sales stakeholder needs
  • Source, collate and present key data points from various data sources including reporting cubes, data warehouses, google sheets, excel, API extracts
  • Design and create purpose built and scalable standardised data reporting solutions for use by the Business Intelligence Commercial Analysis team. The tools used will include but not be limited to Tableau BI, Power Query, SQL & Python
  • Create and automate regular data extracts as required for daily, weekly and monthly reporting in line with reporting timetables, ensuring data accuracy is maintained
  • Instigate data integrity checks across all automated reports to ensure data accuracy and identify potential issues

Qualifications:


You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others.

You will be proactive in discussing solutions and raising ideas for improvement in a positive and professional way, allowing you to build strong relationships.


What we would like to see on your resume:

  • Minimum
  • 5 years' experience in a similar commercial business environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Extensive experience in analysing data and extracting meaningful insights aimed at improving business operations
  • Extensive experience in uncovering trends, patterns and correlations in large amounts of raw data
  • Extensive experience in using SQL, Python and Power Query
  • Ability to interpret and identify key information within a large and complex data framework sourced from a multitude of different systems
  • Experience in a similar role in media and in leading a team (not essential)
