About the position:

  • Provide supportive leadership to inspire and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Program Development and Management: Design, develop, and oversee educational programs that align with organisational goals and meet the needs of students and stakeholders.
  • Lead the Inclusion Support funding and initiatives within the service.
  • Flexibility, plenty of time off the floor and a cohesive and collaborate team (incredible positive culture and well known for it).
  • Expected hours of operation for this role 78 hours morning block or afternoon block including RP responsibilities (shared with others).

Requirements:

  • Proven 12 years of experience working with similar roles or school age children in OSHC / OOSH or in ECE.
  • Desirably holds a Diploma level relevant qualification, however open to other qualification levels for the right person.
  • Valid Paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Completion of accredited Child Protection Training or willing to obtain.
  • Completion of accredited Provide First Aid
  • Education and Care setting or willing to obtain.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • An approachable and collaborative leader who also prioritises professionalism and compliance.

Child Safeguarding:


Looking for an individual who understands, adheres to, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
(The Child Safe Standards).

In your position, you will help to create a culture, adopt strategies, and take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.

  • Position is on present when on site during care hours, but out of ratio. This gives the opportunity as Educational Leader to see how the program is being implemented and providing guidance to others.
