Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our mortgage broking team as the Head of Mortgage Broker.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage broking, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the mortgage broking team to achieve business objectives and maintain our market-leading position.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the mortgage broking business, enhancing client acquisition and retention.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team, ensuring professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with a diverse panel of lenders to ensure competitive product offerings.
  • Oversee the end-to-end mortgage application process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, tailoring lending solutions to their specific financial situations and goals.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to adapt business practices and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in mortgage broking, with a strong track record of success.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, lending policies, and the Australian financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and lender relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications in finance, mortgage broking, or a related field.
