We are seeking a Program Development Coordinator to support the growth and effectiveness of the ADRA Australia National Program Unit. This role involves strengthening programming, providing proposal writing support, and designing impactful projects.

What will you do?

Some of the duties include:

  • Designing impactful projects
  • Writing proposals
  • Planning and organizing activities.
  • Train and support NP staff
  • Conduct program research to ensure our initiatives meet high standards of quality and effectiveness.

Essential Criteria

  • Commitment to the purpose of ADRA, and to the achievement of our overall strategy and priorities with demonstration of our ADRA values and desired team culture lived out in all aspects of work practice
  • Willingness to work within a Christian ethos with conduct that is respectful of the beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church when in the workplace or otherwise representing ADRA Australia
  • A related diploma/degree with at least two years' experience in project management
  • Experience in designing and developing impactful community programs.
  • Demonstrated Research and Analytical Skills – proficiency in conducting program research and using data to drive decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate well to people of various backgrounds and ages and communicate effectively.
  • Confidence in data management in various software programs with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work under pressure.
  • Proven and demonstrated organisational and time management skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • Proven ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures that are fit-for-purpose, and compliance with overarching protocols.
  • Prior experience working within non-profit or faith-based organizations, especially in a similar role
