Job Summary:


As our Maintenance Facilitator Lines, you will provide expert advice and support for maintenance activities and processes associated with HV transmission lines and cables.

This involves the development of maintenance plans and other operational documentation to ensure policy and strategy requirements are met.

About the role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop, review and update routine maintenance plan requirements for lines assets, to ensure assets meet lifecycle expectations.
  • Facilitate regular forums, workshops and meetings to ensure alignment of maintenance delivery, operating practices and asset management lifecycle expectations.
  • Analyse maintenance records, data and costs to recommend and implement improvements in value driven maintenance practices.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of lines assets and compile detailed reports on the condition of the lines assets.

About you:


Your success in this role will rely on your knowledge of maintenance practices associated with HV transmission lines and cable assets and Powerlink's safety practices and procedures, which will enable you to shape maintenance works to achieve maximum efficiencies.


You will be a strong written and verbal communicator with high attention to detail, effective relationship building skills and proven ability to read and understand technical drawings and equipment manuals.


You will also possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or have made significant progress towards completing this qualification.
  • A Lead Auditor qualification.
