Our client is a well established business who specializes in providing products and services to Australian and New Zealand Defence and Emergency service customers.
Seeking a switched on and enthusiastic individual to join their Head Office as an Accounts and Admin Assistant on a permanent basis.
The Role.
The responsibilities of the successful Accounts and Admin Assistant will include:
- Assist with the financial management in Xero, Ostendo, and the bank ‐ accounts payable / receivable,
- Processing payment of supplier invoices in consultation with Sales and Purchasing Administrator and business receipting process.
- Customer invoicing, deposits & pre‐payments, and supplier statement reconciliation.
- Archiving and filing financial and business records and files.
- Supporting and coordinating office social events.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Previous experience in accounts assistance role (preferred)
- Proven experience with XERO is an advantage (preferred but not essential)
- Experience with Ostendo (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent telephone manner and personal presentation
- High level of written and verbal communication and numeracy skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to details
- Highly motivated, able to work efficiently and strong attention to detail
- A 'cando' attitude.
