Our client is one of Australia's fastest growing lighting retailers and they currently have an opening for an

Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit team in their head office in Kingsgrove NSW.


Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will assist with the administration side of the business along with maintaining overseas supplier relationships, processing warranties & returns, liaising with wholesalers & suppliers, collaborate with the sales team as well as assist with Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable when required.

Role is 38hrs a week and is full time in the office at Kingsgrove.

Years of experience:

2 to 3yrs+

Sample Duties include:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Organising supplier invoice payments
  • Reconciling supplier accounts
  • Processing credit cards invoices
  • Reconciling credit cards
  • Processing customer goods return
  • Maintaining files and electronic records
  • General admin duties
  • Diploma in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting / office admin role is preferred
  • Ideally have experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Energetic, dynamic and enthusiastic
  • Team player who goes above and beyond
  • Reliable with strong work morale
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously in a challenging, hands on environment.
  • Superior knowledge using MS Office Suite
  • Outlook, Word, Excel etc
