About the Role


Leading a small team, you will be responsible for monitoring the consistency of material entering the factory, in-process check points during the assembly of TNA equipment and the outgoing product quality.

Where deficiencies are highlighted, identify and implement suitable corrective and preventative actions, so a demonstrable improvement can be measured.

**Key responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the Manufacturing Quality Assurance Department
  • Day to day responsibility for the quality of the components being received from suppliers and the final product being shipped out of the
  • Set team priorities to ensure on time inspection of inward and outgoing goods, cover in times of team absences.
  • Ensure there are no nonconformances, investigate cause and implement CAPAs within specified
  • Ability and authority to cease production and customer shipments and quarantine any defective part within the manufacturing
  • Collate data pertaining to product nonconformance and customer complaints, their root cause and appropriate CAPA; prepare reports showing trends and other
  • Process warranty RMA parts, verify acceptability of returning parts, ensure part is return to original supplier for credit and
  • Lead the Factory Acceptance Testing for all machines produced inhouse and
  • Drive the development of our quality assurance procedures and Liaise with the Manufacturing Engineer to ensure design improvements are raised with the Engineering Design team for assessments.

Desired Knowledge, Skills Experience and Qualifications

  • Technical College or Trade Qualification APIC's Certified or Similar
  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree ideal, but not essential
  • Minimum of 3 years in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing experience is advantageous.
  • Solid knowledge of MRP & ERP based inventory management procedures and enterprise systems for inwards goods handling and stock control activities.
  • Sound understanding of material supply and distribution chains.
  • Selfmotivated and driven, able to work unsupervised but be part of the bigger team.
  • Demonstrates a willingness & ability to deliver information using different methods and ensuring that messages have been received and understood.
  • Able to problem solve & make decisions in line with organisational philosophies and practices.
  • Sound PC skills. High level of English language proficiency, both written and verbal
