The Role

We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Operations Coordinator to join our team at Belgravia Leisure. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our aquatic facilities, with a focus on safety and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards to ensure excellent customer service and a safe environment for patrons.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience.
  • Monitor and maintain pool plant operations, including water quality and chemical management.
  • Ensure all staff are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service and respond to emergencies.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, patrons, and stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in pool plant operations and maintenance, with a strong understanding of water quality management.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certificate, Blue Card, and current Pool Lifeguard and Pool Operations Certificates.
