What success looks like in this role:

This is an exciting opportunity to help us create a Channel and Alliance function in our Asia Pacific business, starting with ANZ territory in 202- Building relationships and being seen as a part of a global function and a key resource in our Asia Pacific Unisys business.


  • Be seen as a strategic thinker who creates a vision who communicates needs and priorities in a simple, structured manner; and has the presence and acumen to present to executive level crossfunctional audiences.
  • Collaborating and influencing internal crossfunctional decisionmakers.
  • Has the ability to build rapport, create connections, and drive engagement with Channel and Alliance Partners.
  • Can understand and explain technical products and services on a strategic level to explore mutual winwin situations with the Channel and Alliance Partners
  • Ability to focus on working with large and medium Services and Software Tier 1 partners.
  • Growing, nurturing and supporting existing early stages of alliance partner relationships and onboarding new ones.
  • Building Channel and Alliance sales relationships with multiple regional and national partners; e.g. Amazon, Dell, Microsoft.
  • Collaborating with Sales teams to develop strategic and tactical sales activities and execution.
  • Cocreates and delivers qualified channel pipeline and opportunities with potential significant sales impact.
  • End to end partner relationship encompassing participation in quotation, requests for proposals, client planning and other client documents etc, and purchasing and invoicing.
  • Work with local sales team teaching them how to benefit from partners offering on the Alliance side for direct sales and the achievement of sales quotas.
  • Showcasing that your "Can-Do" attitude translates to results.
  • Working in a fast paced change environment, and collaborative culture.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelors degree or industry equivalent qualifications
  • 10 years Technical based Channel Sales experience in the IT Services industry, and possess strong sales acumen.
  • Existing relationships with Amazon, Microsoft, Dell in ANZ and Asia.
  • Knowledge of Unisys services and solutions is preferred.
  • Strong accountability and results orientation.
  • Able to illustrate the ability to build, manage and execute programs in a very hands on manner.
  • Professional with a "Can Do" positive attitude, and you can showcase that you can influence and get people excited about your topics.
  • Have sufficient technical understanding and the ability to help building joint propositions with Channel and Alliance partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills e.g. able to create and deliver Powerpoint presentations.
  • Able to connect internally within the company builds functional and sustainable networks
  • Selfdriven problem solver who looks for solutions to opportunities and problems independently.
  • Fluent in English language in spoken and written forms.
  • Existing resident, citizen or working rights in Australia.
