Air Freight Supervisor


This Global Freight Forwarder has a very strong presence and boasts a global network of professionals that are passionate about Logistics.

We are looking for an experienced Airfreight Operator who has solid freight forwarding knowledge and supervisory experience. This is a permanent position with the opportunity to lead a team of five operators and showcase your love for people management

Your day to day

  • Participate in designing and ensuring implementation of Operations plans and processes to support the location and ensure efficient and timely pickup and delivery handling of customer materials and shipments.
  • Participate in designing and ensuring implementation of billing strategy to achieve accuracy and effective delivery of billing information to customers.
  • Optimize process efficiencies and personnel synergies across customer operations, billing, and program management to improve file ownership (i.e. one file, one operator concept)
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally.
  • Serves as an escalation point for Customer Operations Specialists, Customers, overseas offices, and other parties.
  • Manage and coach a team of Customer Operations Specialists

This position would suit a bubbly and passionate individual who is keen to grow their career in the Air Freight industry.


Must haves

  • Some previous people management experience
  • Minimum two years in the Freight Forwarding industry
  • Tech savvy with solid administrative skills.
  • Resultsdriven and attention to detail.
  • CargoWise system experience /exposure advantage

Salary:
$90,000 to $100,000 + Super - pending experience
