**The Role**

Our enthusiastic
**Airfreight Team** is on the hunt for a motivated
**Transport Allocator** to ensure all our Australian Border Force, DAFF and other requirements have been met prior to handover to client or transport carrier.

**What will you be responsible for?**
- Act as first point of contact for carrier queries and clients relating to inbound and outbound cargo
- Coordinate with the Warehouse team to ensure all warehouse release authorities have been granted accordingly
- Monitor carrier performance and report back to Supervisor regarding loss in transit, damage in transit or theft
- Book cargo with carriers using our web-based portals and systems
- Prepare and submit quotations to Supervisor for approval for domestic land transport movement

**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for a Transport Allocator with freight forwarding experience and a 'can-do' attitude.

This includes:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Teamwork and the proven ability to work towards a common goal
- Tech savvy with MS programs (Word, Excel etc.) and ability to pick up DBS systems
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
