The role


The Training Co-ordinator is a key member of our growing team, supporting Infrastructure training and competency requirements to ensure training is delivered and tracked efficiently.

Working closely with the multiple departments within Infrastructure, this role will assist with the coordination of training activities and administration of the Rail Industry Worker System.

Role responsibilities

  • Administer the RIW (Rail Industry Workers) database, matrices, business rules and procedures as per Infrastructures requirements
  • Support Infrastructure training team with development and improvement of training delivery and record keeping
  • Assist the Infrastructure administrators with maintaining training data and contribute to ongoing development of the RIW system
  • Assist with conducting training sessions for the Rail Industry Worker system with Infrastructure employees and contractors
  • Review and upload of an individuals' records and skill sets, training, and competencies within a national competency database
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities and implement action to continually improve training and RIW administration
What we are looking for

  • Experience using Rail Industry Worker database
  • A customer centric focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness
  • High level computer literacy skills including use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
  • Demonstrate an understanding of safety and a commitment to upholding safety standards
  • Experience providing service across multiple business areas in a large organisation
