Engineering Director RoleOur Engineering Director role offers a unique opportunity to build, lead, coach, and develop an efficient and globally disbursed Engineering team that builds products for over 90,000 customers.

This role will have a unique opportunity to take Marketing and Application Integration Domain to its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Drive and influence the technology strategy that aligns to business objectives.


Shape and grow your domain to ensure delivery while driving complex technical work in conjunction with product areas and functions.

Develop your domain's vision and mission to achieve an excellent product experience for our customers.

Identify and remove organizational bottlenecks.


Support and develop a group of Engineering Managers, ensuring they have the right support in their roles as well as the right challenges to grow.

Define and implement best in class performance standards across the engineering organization.

Support Engineering Managers in building high performing engineering teams.

Set and execute on strategy to retain engineering talent.


Create an engineering environment where Engineers have job satisfaction, feel that their work is valuable, and are empowered to be efficient and innovative.

Responsible for the technical success of your organization.

Manage and develop relationships with a variety of stakeholders within and outside the engineering organization.

Leading the way as a clear role model living the Sinch values.


QualificationsThe successful candidate will have proven experience as a technical leader of a larger organization, leading through others as a manager of managers.

In hand with developing, mentoring, and growing high performing engineering teams. Previous background as a hands-on Software Engineer, with a good understanding of system design. Conversant in areas such as large-scale application development, microservice architectures, and SaaS products. Possess a deep understanding of how to translate product and business goals into tech strategies. Experience/interest in transforming a delivery organization into product teams working together for the customer. Entrepreneurial mindset focusing on commercial outcomes. Passionate about current best practices.
