Lead the change, from the frontline

Based in Brisbane, the Human Resources Project Lead is a valued member of the Shell Energy, Human Resources team and is responsible for the delivery of impactful HR Projects across the business from concept to completion. In this delivery-focused role you will develop and implement project plans including timelines, budgets and resource allocation. You will work in partnership with HR Business Partners to define scope and deliverables and to drive projects to completion.

With respect, integrity and honesty, you will be responsible for the following:

  • HRIS Implementation
    • Work collaboratively with the HRIS implementation team to coordination and drive HR involvement and outcomes.
    • Support the delivery of ongoing HRIS improvement projects.
  • Organisational Design & Change Management
    • Support review of Organisational design and health across the business
    • Lead position and org design activities, crafting impactful job roles aligned with strategic goals
    • Provide change management framework support to help guide teams through transitions
  • Capability Development & Alignment
    • Create assessment frameworks to identify skill gaps and learning needs across the different BUs
    • Create the framework for and drive implementation of individual development plans across the business
    • Support the design of effective learning and capability development programs
    • Liaise with Shell L&D and SEAu SMEs to develop key learning and development programs, utilising key Shell material & resources where possible.
    • Collaborate with SMEs and internal stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of learning material.
    • Drive mandatory E&C training across the business.
  • People Value Proposition
    • Work collaboratively with Marketing & Internal Comms to create initiatives to further embed and leverage our PVP throughout the employee lifecycle.
    • Development of Performance Culture initiatives.

What you'll bring

Here's what you'll need to thrive in this role:

  • Proven project management and change management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver against project plans in a busy, deadline driven environment;
  • Proven experience working in a HR Business Partner or similar role, ideally within a complex organisation with a high-performance culture;
  • Extensive understanding of organisational development, employee engagement, talent management, change management and cultural transformation;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practice and employment law;
  • Analytical and experienced with HR metrics with excellent proficiency in HR systems;
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and provide strategic HR solutions;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to rapidly build effective working relationships;
  • Highly adaptable to change with a learner mindset;
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, related field or equivalent work experience; and
  • Willingness to travel interstate as necessary.
