The opportunity

Specifically you will:

  • Support the safe and successful performance of technical and nontechnical aircraft related training.
  • Maintain strong relationships, externally with the Customer and Industry Partners, and internally with the Functional & Business lines
  • Ensure the best training outcomes are always achieved
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with Defence, Program, Functional and Airbus counterparts
  • Meet customer expectations, taking into consideration internal and external risks and opportunities

The skills and experience suited to this role:

  • Previous technical or maintenance experience in the aviation industry
  • Working knowledge of military aviation technical training regulations, standards and best practices
  • Working knowledge of DASR training regulations and requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in delivery of competency based technical training activities, including the development and delivery of theory, practical and on the job training.
  • Knowledge of operational excellence, LEAN practices, managing a serviceoriented organisation, and delivering on service targets
  • Familiarity with Australian and/or New Zealand Defence Forces and Civil Aviation regulations
  • Holds Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a contemporary equivalent
  • Holds Certificate IV or Diploma in Aeroskills, or Diploma of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electronics, Software, Avionics (Australian accredited); or equivalent relevant experience
