THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Operator to join our team at our Rooftiles manufacturing site in Springvale, Victoria.

You will be working Monday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am and Friday 8.00pm to 4.00am (Overtime available).

Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have a manufacturing or Building background, be keen to multi-skill, have good attendance and have a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the maintenance and operation of the tile production line to produce interlocking concrete roof tiles. Training will be provided.
  • Preparation of the machine ready for the commencement of the following shift including calibration, cleaning, Operator Asset Care and test running.
  • Perform quality testing procedures to ensure that products meet the requirements of the Australian Standard,
  • Maintain safe work & operating practices; and maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
  • Minor troubleshooting of problems during machine operation and preventative maintenance (basic machine cleaning).
