We have several positions available for Housekeeping Room Attendants to deliver outstanding service and maintain our exceptional cleaning standards.


As a Room Attendant in our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for providing an excellent and consistent level of service to guests whilst conducting cleaning duties as per allocation and occupancy requirement.


Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Servicing all allocated guest rooms in accordance with instructed training and company standards.
  • Cleaning of guest rooms and accommodation common areas adhering to the standards required by Taylors Lakes Hotel.
  • Restock and clean storage areas and trolleys according to established procedures.
  • Use correct cleaning techniques to clean and maintain our high standards whilst following OHS regulations.
  • Laundry services, including but not limited to stripping and making beds.
  • Complete cleaning and preparation of rooms, bathrooms and living areas for daily guest arrivals.
  • Work and communicate closely with Housekeeping Supervisor and Front Office.
  • The ability to act consistently with clear ethics and values in accordance with confidentiality.

Expectations and Qualifications:

  • Superior customer service skills along with the capability to work both autonomously and as part of a diverse team.
  • Proven experience in Hotel/Resort Housekeeping is a bonus however not essential or required.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of high grooming standards.
  • Flexibility to work Monday
  • Sunday including Public Holidays and some evenings.
  • Must have reliable transport.
  • Additional Hospitality Certificates (RSA/RSG/RSF/BARISTA training) are welcome.
