To be considered you will need to be able to provide evidence of:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in Aged Care
  • To be fully vaccinated against Covid1
  • Up to date Flu Vaccination
  • Valid Police Check (within the last 12 months)
  • NDIS Check
  • Working with Children's Check (State Specific)
  • Valid relevant Trainings (Manual Handling, First Aid, Infection Control)
  • 100 Points of ID
  • Valid work Rights
  • Awareness of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Code of Conducts
  • Excellent communication skills

Possible Duties:

A personal care assistant

provides help, support and care to patients in their daily activities directly in aged care or healthcare organisations.

Locations Queensland wide.

Pay rates are the highest we have ever seen.

Summary of Possible Duties:

  • Provide high quality support to residents
  • Attend to resident's personal care needs such as showering, dressing, feeding etc.
  • Complete reporting and documentation based of the facility's policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer service, presenting a professional manner
  • Providing care in accordance with resident's individualised care plan
  • Help customers with their shopping
  • Do any necessary room cleaning
  • Provide emotional support
  • Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
