The Business Manager is the driving force behind the PTA Project Delivery (PPD) Division. In this pivotal role you will be providing specialist advice with strategic leadership to ensure the Division's business strategy and project execution; including financial management, Human Resource needs, Safety & Quality performance, and project governance meets the agreed organisational objectives.
About You
As a Business Manager you will have experience in project/organisational management in a complex business environment. Your ability to provide critical thinking and articulate a clear strategic direction in the development and implementation of organisational improvement strategies is vital to the role. This position requires a decisive skilled leader with experience advising on project governance and project delivery strategies, converting strategies into plans and achieving outcomes.
The successful applicant will need experience in leading change initiatives that have delivered significant business results and in managing all aspects of general business relating to financial management, risk management, policy and procedure compliance and continuous improvement strategies. Your leadership and people skills will include experience in managing and fostering relationships with staff, key stakeholders and consultants, with an ability proactively and successfully lead people and manage resources towards focussed outcomes.
In addition, to be considered for this role you will also need to have:
Experience in project/organisational management including leading change initiatives, financial, legal and probity issues. Experience in advising on project governance, financial management and project delivery strategies. Experience in leadership and management including managing resources and motivating others towards achieving outcomes.This is a pool recruitment process where suitable applicants will be placed in a pool for 12 months from which fixed term appointments up to three years with the possibility of further extension(s) and/or permanency will be made.
