_ The Opportunity_


The Quality and Compliance Officer will be responsible in leading the development and ongoing implementation of all aspects of quality and compliance across the Aged and Disability Services unit, with a major focus on aged care.


The role will facilitate and support the achievement of successful quality audits and accreditation requirements, quality principles and compliance with legislation, regulations, and will ensure compliance of management systems and continuous improvement in practice.


The role will work collaboratively with a wide range of people to achieve quality improvements and strategic goals including internal and external stakeholders.


This role will suit an experienced Quality and Compliance Officer who enjoys working in a dynamic and high performing team and, and who possess a sound knowledge of the Aged Care Service System, and has experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement to meet the requirements of the unit.


_ Position Objectives_

  • Knowledge and experience in undertaking and managing audits.
  • Ability to translate organisational strategies and plans into meaningful and practical implementation.
  • Demonstrated IT and administrative skills, including a strong focus towards systems development.

_ Qualifications, Skills & Experience_

  • A tertiary qualification in Quality and Continuous Improvement Systems, health, or a management discipline or similar or lesser formal qualifications with significant experience in a related field.
  • Experience with the development and implementation of Staff Education and Training Programs.
  • Experience in the leadership or influencing of staff.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in a Microsoft Office environment.
  • A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • A police clearance and ongoing police clearances every three years
  • A current Employment Working with Children's Check
