ANZ's Return to Work Program is designed for people who have taken a career break, or have been significantly underemployed, and would like support transitioning back into the workforce.


To be eligible for the Program you will have taken a career break (two or more years) or have been significantly underemployed.

As an Assurance Management Expert, you will work to empower and support the Commercial Banking business to manage their operational and compliance risks by providing expert advice, insights and coaching that helps embed sustainable and well managed risk practices to protect ANZ's customers, bankers, and shareholders.


The Risk, Portfolio and Governance team is part of Commercial and Private banking, who supports our frontline businesses to drive a strengthened risk culture and well managed business.

What's in your toolkit
Experience in operational risk management which includes Control design, event management, advice, compliance, risk profiling; and change management.
Proven technical experience in control design and impacts to risk profile
Experience in reporting and insights, identifying trends and making recommendations in relation to how risks are being identified, assessed and treated across the portfolio
Maturing sophisticated risk management ecosystems, including proactively identifying and responding to internal/external influences
Strong understanding of operational risk principles and regulatory expectations
Ability to collaborate with the business to develop effective operational risk management solutions
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships
