Our client is a well-known client in Tobacco sector. The Legal & Operations Consultant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's legal compliance, streamlining operational processes, and providing strategic legal advice. This position requires a blend of legal expertise and operational acumen to support various departments, manage risk, and enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice to the Finance team and various departments.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MSAs, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to drive operational improvements.
  • Identify potential legal and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legal standards and internal policies.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the company adapts to changes proactively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 -7 years of experience in a legal or compliance role, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations, contract/MSA law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
