The Opportunity:


Reporting to the Group Manager People Operations, this role is responsible for partnering with our Executive Director Infrastructure and Services and Executive Director Minda Housing Limited and their respective teams to provide strategic and operational HR support and coaching.

In this role, you will build strong and collaborative partnerships across a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure that the business is equipped to deliver on the strategic plan and contribute to planning for future requirements.


As an experienced and skilled trusted advisor, you will have the ability to guide and influence positive change across your business units, which will allow the business to remain focused on their key objective, which is to deliver the highest standard of care to our customers.


Your success will be determined by your forward thinking and partnering approach, combined with your desire to shape the HR brand with a positive and can-do approach.


You will be responsible for:

  • Providing timely daytoday HR advice, support, and coaching to managers and team members, including employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition and development, compliance, and culture.
  • Ensuring EA's, other industrial instruments, and Minda's Policies and Procedures are interpreted and implemented correctly and in a consistent manner.
  • Providing advice, coaching, feedback and support to management to effectively manage the performance and development needs of the Minda workforce, and facilitating resolution of employment relations issues.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to support and promote People and Safety projects and initiatives.
  • Preparing HR metrics, including monthly Board reporting.
  • Maintain compliance requirements for your portfolio.

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • A strong relationship builder, focused on delivering internal value and exceeding client expectations.
  • Experienced in employee and industrial relations, with a solid understanding of relevant Australian employment legislation.
  • Passionate about developing the skills and knowledge of frontline staff to assist them becoming more effective leaders.

Additionally, you will require:

  • NDIS
    Workers Screening Clearance
  • Valid and unrestricted South Australian Driver's Licence
  • Qualifications in HR or relevant Business Discipline
