An exciting opportunity to join our workforce optimisation team and gain exposure to multiple business units while contributing to overall business performance and improvement.

Your role as Workforce Optimisation Specialist will support the operation of our internal workforce management platform, which is utilized by our retail operations and customer service teams.


You will be accountable for reporting and analysis of weekly metrics and will aid leaders across the business to drive efficiencies across in-store workforce processes.

We are looking for someone with a sound understanding about workforce planning and best practice rostering, ideally in a retail environment.


With a hybrid mix of time at home, as well as our Burnley office, this role will suit an innovative individual who is passionate about problem solving and enjoys workforce planning.

What does the role involve?

  • Work with various internal stakeholders to build system capabilities
  • Contribute to the development of best practice guidelines for workforce management and rostering
  • Contribute to the planning and deployment of new practices into stores
  • Analyse and identify business improvements that could be adapted to the workforce platform
  • Run weekly reports of key store metrics
  • Act as the SME for stakeholders with any questions related to the workforce management platform
What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated experience in workforce planning and rostering
  • Experience using Ceridian Dayforce and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines
