Apprentice - MechanicalDescription

Join our Cummins Technician Apprenticeship program focused on Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

  • Undertake a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31120)
  • Work towards becoming a certified Cummins Technician
  • Gain hands-on experience and learn from experts in engine technology.

Bring your passion and dedication to a role that will kickstart your career in the mechanical field.

Working under the guidance of seasoned Cummins Technicians, you will delve into the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and related products.

A basic mechanical toolkit will be provided at the beginning of your apprenticeship.

  • Attain a nationally recognized Certificate III trade qualification.
  • Participate in off-the-job TAFE/Registered Training Organization courses.
  • Benefit from structured on-the-job training supervised by our Regional Capability Trainers, as well as experienced technicians and supervisors in your workspace.
  • Acquire hands-on experience working with a variety of Cummins engine products.
  • Enhance your technical skills through specialized engine product training with Cummins Technical Trainers as you progress in your apprenticeship.
