Our GCO team is a center of excellence within J&J (the pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson), responsible for clinical trials and other data generation activities to support R&D and Medical Affairs research.

The GCO team manage and coordinate phase I-IV trials.

How you can help:


An opportunity is now available for a Clinical Project Manager/Local Trial Manager to join our high performing Global Clinical Operations (GCO) team.

You will be your projects local point of contact for the global teams, providing project team oversight to achieve flawless execution of assigned clinical trials.

You will work closely with your local Clinical Research Manager, however you will remain responsible for the conduct of your project.

You will cover all aspects of study execution from feasibility and pre-trial assessment through to database lock and close out activities.

The role extends more broadly to include, in some cases, leading a cross functional team or working on early development pipeline products.

This is a permanent, full time role.

What you'll do:


As an exceptional leader, you will build strong working relationships with internal and external customers and ensure the smooth running of our trials; delivering them on time, on budget and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), relevant SOPs and regulatory requirements.

In addition, you will be required to contribute to process improvement as well as training and mentoring other team members.


This role requires someone experienced in clinical project management with excellent communication and leadership skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

A strong knowledge of GCP and local regulatory guidelines and a medical, paramedical or life sciences tertiary qualification will be essential.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Science, Nursing or Life Sciences.
  • Extensive pharmaceutical and/or clinical trial experience is a must.
  • Therapeutic knowledge in Hematology and Oncology is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong people leadership (coaching and mentoring) and customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel.
