Job Summary


The
Pureplay & Grocery Now Manager is an exciting role managing a rapidly growing part of the Unilever ANZ business.

Externally facing the role will manage Amazon, Catch, Kogan & the entirety of the P&C Channel focussing on building strong working relationships with the accounts.

This role will collaborate, build and manage best-in-class plans that ensures Unilever is a frontrunner in the Pureplay & On Demand space in ANZ, and within Unilever globally.


Pureplay & Grocery Now Manager is responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) of the Unilever Pureplay & Grocery Now business including turnover, profitability, trade spend and Market share delivery, whilst building, negotiating and executing the commercial joint business plan with the Customers & alongside the P&C Team.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of Turnover, Customer Profitability and spend budgets across total Unilever Portfolio for Pureplay & Grocery Now.
  • Develop strong relationships with both internal (e.g. Category Manager, Shopper Insights Managers, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) & external customers (e.g. Category Managers, Trading Managers, Supply contacts, Marketing contacts, aggregator Managers).
  • Developing, implementing & ultimately delivering Joint Business Plans in Pureplay & Grocery Now (in collaboration with P&C Managers).
  • Developing and owning Online activations & events in Pureplay & Grocery Now.
  • Developing (with Category team), executing and delivering promotional plan with Amazon (focus on winning Tier 1 events).
  • Developing and Owning Amazon Prep Free Packaging Plan.
  • Day to day administration and evaluation of product portfolio e.g. Promotional Evaluation
  • Discuss, agree and land Gap Filling initiatives (where appropriate).
  • Lead range and merchandising reviews working in collaboration with the Category Managers across all business Units.
  • Deliver key Category Team initiatives at Customer e.g. Price Increases, Brand Activation, NPD etc.
  • Work with Customer Service Team to ensure customer service issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Engage monthly with global Grocery Now team and local leadership to share best practice, learnings and insights.
  • Drive Grocery Now agenda and thought leadership throughout total business.
