Assistant Brand Manager - Nutrition role is designed to be fully functional in the 4-Day work week trial.


We are looking for an
Assistant Brand Manager - Nutrition who will work across the marketing mix, with a focus on Continental.

Continental is the lead commercial contributor to the total Nutrition Business Unit, and a key player in Unilever ANZ's total market share.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager, this role will work on one of Australia's most powerful FMCG brands and provide you with the opportunity to help shape the future of this iconic brand as it moves into an exciting time of change.

Our purpose is to make nutrition accessible to all generations, being good for people and good for the planet.

To do this, in our projects, everyone needs to be able to take a step back and think strategically as well as roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty; to be entrepreneurial and experiment as well as bring in the best of Unilever and work the structures of a large company.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Working across the snacking category, supporting on innovation and brand plan deployment and perfect execution. Including business case alignment, development, processing and gatekeeping prior to launch.
  • Owner of endtoend planning, working with customer strategy, brand teams and creative agency to ensure consistent execution from brand assets and messaging to instore execution.
  • Management of the team's brand budgets
  • Ownership of Core brand metrics, tracking and then working with cross functional teams to optimise plans and deliver yearly forecast & targets.
  • Activation review to build best in class customer plans, year on year.

Does this sound like You

  • 23 years experience in marketing, sales or category.
  • Demonstrable analytical ability and data fluency (Brand performance commentary, Innovation tracking, Category deep dives)
  • Experience with using Nielsen, Quantium or IRi desirable
  • Brand strategy execution experience
  • A proven track record in project management cross functionally
  • A self starter with attention to detail, always striving to deliver the best possible result
  • Open minded and seek creative solutions to everyday problems
  • Obsessive about consumer understanding and completely immersed in the needs of the consumer both now, and into the future
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent
