Maroondah City Council has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced safety professional to provide organisational leadership and direction as OHS Programs Manager
As the OHS Programs Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our organization.
Reporting to the Manager, People and Culture, the focus areas of this role will include:
- understanding the organisation and its service delivery requirements
- Identifying and addressing OHS issues and opportunities, implementing effective control programs and measures.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to maximize positive organizational outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining strategic OHS metrics for decisionmaking and accountability.
- Establishing and managing OHS systems, programs, policies, and procedures.
Success in this role will require:
- Relevant qualifications and extensive experience in OHS management.
- Indepth knowledge of OHS prevention, legislation and ISO 45001 OHS management systems.
- A Proven track record in developing and implementing effective OHS programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
