Role ResponsibilitiesAs a dedicated Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients of all ages within a collaborative team, aiming to enhance their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing both individual and group occupational therapy training and intervention programs
- Utilizing various interactive and digital assessments to evaluate client progress
- Assessing and training clients in the use of assistive devices for daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
- Providing guidance on low-vision techniques and strategies to improve daily occupational performance and overall quality of life
To excel in this position, you must possess a nationally recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Additionally, you should have:
- Experience working with diverse age groups, including children, adults, and seniors
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for empowering individuals to achieve independence
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client services to those who are blind or have low vision
