Autonomy & Asset Management Group is an Australian based business supporting the mining & resource industry.

We provide a range of services that include Automation and Technology, Asset Management and Skilled Trades to support large-scale mining projects, working on a range of the latest OEM equipment with Tier 1 clients.


We're seeking a
Technical Sales Representative - (Technology) to join the team at our Head Office in Hendra close to Hamilton, Racecourse Rd and DFO shopping and dining precincts.


The Role:


The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for expanding the growth of AAMG Technologies division through developing sales of our products, parts and services to new and existing clients.


The Technical Salesperson will achieve AAMG's growth ambition through identifying leads, developing them into prospects and moving them through the sales funnel to closure.

Through this, the role will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of AAMG Technologies' product, parts and service offering and the value that brings to client operations.


The role is responsible for providing high quality customer service, fostering strong relationships and meeting or exceeding sales targets whilst ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.


Responsibilities include:

  • Input into and delivery of the sales plan as provided by GM
  • Business Development
  • Contact potential customers to present AAMG Technologies products, parts and services, moving them through the sales funnel to a close.
  • Engage prospective and current customers primarily via telephone and social platforms, as well as through facetoface engagements, networking functions and conferences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business
  • Provide excellent customer service including answering customer questions, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to customers
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate sales records and reports
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing and customer service) to ensure a positive customer experience

About You:

  • 3 + years' experience working in a Sales/BD or client facing role
  • Knowledge of Technology Sales/Machinery sales or similar
  • Exposure to mining/heavy industry, Energy, Construction or related fields
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a warm yet professional phone manner
  • Willingness to go over and above what is expected to ensure excellent customer service is delivered each and every time
  • Enthusiastic, Committed, and Loyal
  • Innovative, with the ability to think outside the square.
