You will be responsible for SHEQ activities across a multiple site portfolio, delivering high quality operations and maintenance services with a focus on quality assurance (being able to meet and maintain accreditations and standards) and environmental and sustainability aspects.

About the Role
The role requires you to confidently work independently and make decisions. You will manage the compliance of subcontractors, contractual, legislative and Ventia requirements to deliver successful SHEQ project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing and supporting SHEQ Management Plans, campaigns, and critical controls across all projects
  • Leading SHEQ activities including site inspections, observations, audits (internal and ISO accreditations), investigations, toolboxes and coaching supervisors and site personnel
  • Undertake investigations in relation to safety incidents including management of resulting actions and updating systems and documentation accordingly
  • Monthly reporting as related to SHEQ activities
  • Adhere with legislation, regulations, and standards across all activities of the project
  • Implementing processes to ensure communication and compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures and fostering a culture of "Safety above all else"

About You
To be considered you must be able to demonstrate all elements of SHEQ.- Demonstrated experience in a similar role as a true all rounder

  • Have in depth knowledge / experience in quality and compliance
  • Minimum Cert IV Workplace health and safety


 Lead Investigation training
  • ICAM
  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • Highrisk work experience
  • Blue card working with children (or willingness to obtain)
  • Construction white card
  • Current drivers' licence
  • Desirable working at heights and confined space
