Job Title: Trades Assistant

Ventia is seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team in Middlemount. As a Trades Assistant, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to our assets, plant, and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintenance inspections, testing, and repairs under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Assist with minor capital works projects as required.
  • Support the trades services team with ad-hoc maintenance and repairs tasks as needed.
  • Represent Ventia in a professional manner while performing quality workmanship.
  • Ensure that services are delivered to the client and Ventia's satisfaction.
  • Comply with all Ventia SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Assist other employees in carrying out these responsibilities by providing support and example.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • CPR/LVR Certification.
  • Standard 11 Certification.
  • White Card Certification.
  • Working at Heights/Confined Spaces Certification.
  • Previous experience working in a building maintenance position.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Understanding and commitment to OH&S, risk management, and hazard identification.
