Location will be Collie project site
The Permit Commissioning Officer is responsible for managing and developing the electrical safe systems of work in conjunction with developing and co-ordinating the permit system for the project in accordance with the specified requirements and client expectations.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Implement and manage an electrical permit system
Participate in weekly Safety Inspections and Task Observations with the project delivery team to provide advice, guidance and support in identification and rectification of issues
Manage Lock Out Tag Out requirements, develop HV and commissioning permit procedures and manage the Notification of Energisation process (No E)
Your skills and experience:
Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
Electrical Trade Qualifications.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience within a similar Major Project environment
Ability to develop and manage electrical safe systems of work including but not limited to the Electrical Safety Management Plan and associated procedures
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
