About the role


An internal promotion presents this opportunity for a people-focused Technology Service Desk Manager to lead and inspire our exceptional Perth Service Desk team.

Foster an excellent team and take your technology management skills to the next level at a top tier law firm


This role will have oversight of the Perth office's Service Desk operations as well as leading, directing, developing and motivating the team.

Along with ensuring exceptional technology service standards are delivered daily, you'll play an integral part in inspiring your direct reports, building a strong team culture and setting them up for success.


As the Perth Technology Service Desk Manager, you will be a key contact for Partners and staff and have the solid communication and relationship-building skills to show it.

This role provides valuable opportunities to collaborate with KWM's national Technology group more broadly - working alongside our in-house Applications, Infrastructure, Information Security and Projects teams, among others.

This role is offered on an initial 12 month contract basis.

What experience are we looking for?

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a team leader / management role
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a Service Desk / Helpdesk environment
  • Experience building and implementing best practices within a Service Desk/Help Desk environment
  • High level understanding of Microsoft Windows, Office / 365 and core technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Excellent team management skills coordination and delegation
  • Technical certification (degree in IT related field ; MCP ; CCN* desirable)
  • ITIL certified (desirable)
