The role:


We're looking for a driven and structured sales leader to head up a passionate and experienced team of BDMs in our continually growing embedded network business, which provides energy solutions to building developers, owners corporations and strata managers.

Rather than focus simply on parcelling up traditional grid power for customers in apartment buildings, you'll look for ways to add smart energy technology - such as solar PV and battery storage - to clients at zero cost down.


Key responsibilities:

  • Build a high performance sales culture
  • Lead the existing sales team which has people based in multiple States
  • Define and oversee the key operating procedures that will help underpin the running and expansion of a high performing sales organisation
  • Develop strategies and approach for interstate expansion
  • Oversee the continued growth of the sales team over the next 612 months
  • Crosssell smart energy solutions to existing and new community energy network clients
  • Working with other team members to ensure the sales team has the ability to easily offer clients access to behind the meter solar PV and energy storage
  • Define a sales strategy for the sale of these valueadd products

Key requirements:

Sales management:Demonstration of successful leadership of high-performance sales function

Energy market (Community Energy Networks) experience:Rounded experience of the community energy network (embedded networks) sector, coupled with a passion for renewable energy and the drive to improve Australia's energy system

Developer relationships:Hold existing relationships within the building developer sector

Customer focus:Strong enough relationships with tier 1 building developer clients

Commercial acumen:Ability to design, contract and negotiate solutions that provide customers with value

Driven:results orientated with focus on pace, outcomes, and mínimal bureaucracy

Problem solving:Ability to define and simplify complex problems, and design and implement practical solutions
