The role & responsibilities:


As the National Retail Manager you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training Store Managers and Area Managers to ensure each region is hitting Daily, Weekly, and Monthly targets.

Reporting to your GM, you will collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Merchandise and Digital to drive best in class experiences for our customer.

You will also be involved in the overall growth of the business as the brand continues to grow a strong presence in the Australian retail landscape.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in the following:

  • Ensure efficient operation of stores across Australia, to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPI's, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control and shrinkage
  • Motivate your store and area managers to achieve optimal results in KPI's & added value targets across stores
  • Drives change champion new ideas, motivate others to support change, readily adapts to changing circumstances, addresses change resistance
  • Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets acknowledge outstanding results and identify any areas of missed opportunity
  • Effectively manage the wage costs across Australia, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards
  • Coach and mentor store and area managers to maintain high team morale and encourage the development of their area manager & store teams by ensuring training and succession plans are in place
  • Train store and area managers to understand and enhance their skills in the recruitment and selection of team members in line with their stores needs and skill gaps. As well as implementation of regular performance reviews
  • Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to national OH&S legislation
  • Proactively lead and drive the structure of the retail teams as we scale retail stores rollout across Australia
  • Overseen and manage visual merchandising with a view to onboard and recruit a visual merchandising manager when we reach a point of scale
  • Facilitate product education sessions and ensure all team members are upskilled in all areas of product knowledge
  • Ensure team values are upheld and maintained and all team members live and breathe the Nude Lucy Ethos

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated 5-10 years at a State or National level retail management level
  • experience working for a women's fashion brand preferred
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team in dynamic fast paced environments
  • Proven track record of driving productivity improvements
  • Team player and effective communicator
